Bears are still raiding the Kodiak dump, weeks after a state plan to keep them out
Bears continue to get into the Kodiak Island Borough landfill on Monashka Bay Road despite a repaired electric fence and a Bear Management Plan the state approved July 15, and borough staff attribute it to a constant attractant. ADEC and ADF&G will join an Assembly work session Thursday.
