Become a Compute Volunteer

Help transcribe public meetings and government proceedings. Your contributions power local journalism and keep communities informed.

Why Become a Compute Volunteer?

Support Local Journalism

Your transcriptions help journalists cover local government, school boards, and community meetings that would otherwise go unreported.

Join a Community

Connect with other volunteers who care about transparency and civic engagement. See your name credited on published articles.

Work On Your Schedule

Pick up jobs when it's convenient. Process recorded meetings at your own pace, or help with live events in real-time.
