An Anchorage police officer shot and killed an armed, intoxicated woman at the Adelaide apartment building at 9th and Cordova on Aug. 18, after officers arrived at 1:40 p.m. and tried to negotiate. Police Chief Sean Case said crisis teams, SWAT and containment were all in place.
