I'm here to also support the continued investment and commitment to downtown Anchorage foot patrol as support for business and community safety that impacts all of the municipality. Our members have consistently cited public safety as a concern in our feedback surveys, with downtown at the epicenter. And this year's pilot foot patrol delivered both quantitative and qualitative results, as you've heard. The thousands of contacts, those resolutions, and connections to supportive services helped to stem the tide of larger issues that Anchorage faces for the state of Alaska. APD absolutely goes above and beyond to support the community.
