“There are 3 propositions on the Fairbanks North Star Borough ticket this year as well. Proposition 1 is an incentive to establish maximum allowable tax revenue. Proposition 2 would move the municipality election date to the same date as the Alaska State General Election, the first Tuesday in November. And Proposition 3 asks voters to decide if the borough should return to hand-counted ballots or stay with electronic tabulation devices to record votes.
