Alaska seeks outside attorneys for ethics complaints against top officials
The Alaska Department of Administration is recruiting outside attorneys to investigate ethics complaints against the governor, lieutenant governor, or attorney general, roles the attorney general cannot investigate. Bids are due Aug. 24.

Senate panel advances $349 million administration budget
The Senate Finance Subcommittee on the Department of Administration forwarded a $349.4 million operating budget recommendation to the full Finance Committee, rejecting proposed decentralization of payroll and shared services.
