Murkowski: War-price fuel barges lock rural Alaska into costly winter

Senator Lisa Murkowski warned Sunday that rural Alaska villages receiving June fuel barges are locked into peak Iran-war prices through winter, with Dillingham at $9/gal and Nuiqsut at $14/gal before barge delivery and increases of 50 percent or more coming.
