An Anchorage firm maintains nine Florida federal buildings on a $25 million GSA deal

Anchorage-based Katmai Integrated Solutions LLC is getting an extra $23,553 from the federal government. The money will fix a rusted-out floor and repair a fire alarm system at the Bryan Simpson Federal Courthouse in Jacksonville, Florida. It is one of dozens the company has taken there this year.

Katmai maintains nine federal buildings and courthouses in Tampa, Jacksonville, Orlando, Ocala and Ft. Myers under a GSA agreement worth up to $24,963,280, signed in August 2025 and running through May 2028. GSA recorded it as an 8(a) sole source award and logged one offer. The record lists it as Alaska Native corporation owned and tribally owned.

The General Services Administration, which manages federal buildings nationwide, added the funds to an existing contract with the company. The new work is scheduled to run from Aug. 28 through Nov. 30. A separate order signed Aug. 12 obligated $70,228 for a failed refrigerant monitor and generator control panel there, through Nov. 14.

Both are small. On Aug. 27, the day before, GSA obligated $463,684 to Katmai for urgent cooling tower repairs at the Charles Bennett Federal Building in Jacksonville. The Simpson courthouse drew $76,944 in July for a sanitary leak in Courtroom 5A.
