Two Kenai Peninsula subdivisions go to the plat committee Sept. 28

Neighbors of two proposed subdivisions, one in Nikiski and one in Anchor Point, have until 1 pm Friday, Sept. 25 to file written comment before the Kenai Peninsula Borough Plat Committee takes them up the following Monday.

The Nikiski application, the Garnet Subdivision 2026 Addition, covers lots on Diamond Street, Gemstone Street and Dempsey Woods Way. The Anchor Point application, the Stapel Subdivision, is on Stikine Street, Thunder Road and Tlingit Avenue.

The committee meets at 7 pm Sept. 28 in Soldotna. Public testimony is limited to five minutes per person. Anyone who disagrees with the outcome has 10 days from written notice to ask the borough Planning Commission to review it.
