Fairbanks job fair Thursday: retail, grocery, restaurant and bank employers
Fifteen employers from the retail, grocery, restaurant and banking industries are expected at the Fairbanks Job Center on Thursday, giving job seekers a chance to meet them in person from 11 am to 3 pm at 675 7th Ave. Fred Meyer, Walmart, Walgreens, McDonald's, Key Bank and Raising Cane's are among them.
Walk-ins are welcome. Bring a resume, or print copies at the center.
It is the first of seven monthly job fairs the center plans through May. The next is a general fair on Oct. 29 at the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center. The job center's number is 907-451-5901.
