BBNC subsidiary offers shareholder enrollment help July 25

Bristol Bay Native Corporation shareholders who need to update stock records or enroll descendants have a concrete opportunity Saturday, July 25, when Southcentral Region hosts a services open house with a pancake brunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. AKDT.

SCR staff will assist shareholders with updating existing stock documentation and completing descendant enrollment paperwork. BBNC shareholders approved descendant enrollment in October 2025, launching a program that allows eligible descendants to apply for 20 shares of Class D stock and eligible missed enrollees to apply for 100 shares of Class C stock. Applicants need a birth certificate showing relation to an original BBNC shareholder and a Social Security card. Those applying on behalf of a child or grandchild under 18 also need a signed notarized custodial consent form. Applicants for an adopted child must provide documents showing the familial relation. Shareholders who update or complete stock records at the event will be entered into a door-prize drawing. Winners do not need to be present to claim prizes.
