Woman arrested on DUI charge after driving into a North Pole business

A woman drove a vehicle through the wall of a North Pole business Thursday afternoon and was arrested on a driving under the influence charge.

Alaska State Troopers responded around 12:28 p.m. and determined she was impaired by alcohol. She was taken to Fairbanks Correctional Center.

Troopers did not identify the business, describe the damage, or say whether anyone was hurt.

The charge is an accusation, and she is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
