Troopers arrest Fairbanks woman for DUI near Healy after multiple REDDI calls

A 38-year-old Fairbanks woman faces a DUI charge after troopers stopped a black Subaru at Mile 258 of the Parks Highway north of Healy on July 26

Multiple REDDI reports described the vehicle driving dangerously. The first came in at 10:08 p.m.

Troopers stopped the vehicle and determined the driver was under the influence of alcohol, according to the trooper dispatch.

The calls came through REDDI, the state's Report Every Dangerous Driver Immediately line. Trooper dispatches credit the line with repeated arrests this summer, including DUI arrests around Alaska.

The charge is an accusation, not a finding. The dispatch listed no court date.
