Wasilla golf course seeks state license to serve beer and wine on the course

Sleepy Hollow Golf Course in Wasilla has applied to serve beer and wine across its course, driving range and the enclosed deck at its Roadhouse. A golf course license in Alaska covers beer and wine only, and only for drinking on the property.

The course is owned by Nadon Family Home LLC, split between Raymond and Stephany Nadon, with Jennifer Bozard and Clayton Nadon in management. The company already holds a golf course license at Midnight Sun Golf Course and a restaurant license at Sleepy Hollow.

A companion application would let minors eat at and work on the premises, with proposed hours of 9 am to 8 pm daily. The property also carries a state food permit this year for a deli called the Headless Horseman.

The Mat-Su Borough can protest the license, and has not. The state alcohol board meets Tuesday in Anchorage.
