Noel Wien Library brings Kids Literacy Farmers Market back to Weeks Field July 21
A free family event returning for its sixth year brings literacy activities and a children's farmers market to Weeks Field Community Park in Fairbanks on Tuesday, July 21, from 3 to 6 p.m., next to Noel Wien Public Library at 1215 Cowles Street.
Families can visit local community organizations, take part in literacy-based activities, and browse a farmers market built specifically for children.
The event is part of Literacy and ESL programming organized by Nilya Carrato with Fairbanks North Star Borough Public Libraries, which also maintains a regular outreach presence at the Tanana Valley Farmers Market every Wednesday.
The event is free and open to all families.
