Man taken to hospital after stabbing at Boniface Parkway and Debarr Road
A stabbing sent an adult man to the hospital with upper-body trauma Sunday, Aug. 16, at Boniface Parkway and Debarr Road, the Anchorage Police Department said. Officers responded about 5:04 p.m. and found the victim at the scene. APD is investigating the case as 26-21661.
Detectives have contacted everyone believed to be involved and are not looking for anyone else, APD said. "There is no current public safety threat related to this incident," the department said. The release does not say whether anyone was arrested.
The stabbing follows two other APD notices this month involving that stretch of east Anchorage: an Aug. 10 shooting in the 300 block of Boniface Parkway and an Aug. 13 officer-involved shooting in the 6000 block of Debarr Road. The state Office of Special Prosecutions will review the officer's use of force in that case.
