Man taken to hospital after stabbing at Boniface Parkway and Debarr Road

A stabbing sent an adult man to the hospital with upper-body trauma Sunday, Aug. 16, at Boniface Parkway and Debarr Road, the Anchorage Police Department said. Officers responded about 5:04 p.m. and found the victim at the scene. APD is investigating the case.

Detectives have contacted everyone believed to be involved and are not looking for anyone else, APD said. "There is no current public safety threat related to this incident," the department said. The release does not say whether anyone was arrested.

Anchorage police have reported four violent incidents in east Anchorage this month.
