A man was found dead with injuries in East Anchorage, and police are investigating

Anchorage police found a man dead with injuries to his upper body early Wednesday, in the 3900 block of East 8th Avenue. No one has been arrested, and the department's major crime scene investigators are handling the case.

Police have not released the man's identity, pending notification of his next of kin, and have not given a cause of death. The department is asking anyone with information to call police.
