CDC orders $1.4 million more Atlanta construction from an Anchorage firm

MTNT Construction, LLC of Anchorage collected $1,394,181 in federal construction work over five days this month, in three task orders from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: $824,599 on Aug. 6, $270,404 on Aug. 7, and $299,178 on Aug. 10. The work is in Atlanta, not Alaska.

All three fall under the same underlying contract, 75D30122D14802, an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity agreement (IDIQ) under which an agency prequalifies a contractor, then assigns work by task order rather than running a fresh competition each time. The CDC awarded it in August 2022 as a sole-source award under 8(a), the federal contracting program for disadvantaged small businesses, on a single offer and with a $10 million ceiling. Federal records list the firm as Alaska Native corporation-owned and an 8(a) participant.

The contract has produced at least eight task orders since September 2025, including $449,553 in July for fire suppression leaks.

USAspending.gov describes each of the three August orders only as "CONSTRUCTION IDIQ," with no facility or scope stated. Performance periods run through June 30, 2027, for the largest order and through Aug. 31, 2027, for the other two.
