CDC placed $2 million with an Anchorage firm without competition

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has placed two contracts worth $2,044,976 with Anchorage-based Eagle Health Analytics, LLC without competition.

Both orders run one year, from Sept. 21, 2026, through Sept. 20, 2027. The larger, $1,498,675, funds general support for the Office of the Director at the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases, the CDC unit coordinating readiness for imported Ebola cases. The second, $546,301, is for Ebola response support. The work is at CDC headquarters in Atlanta.

USAspending.gov lists both awards, IDs 75D30126F00009 and 75D30126F00010, as contracts rather than grants. Both are recorded as not available for competition, only one source, and both are task orders under a five-year contract CDC awarded in September 2023 as an 8(a) sole-source set-aside with one offer received and a $25 million ceiling.

Eagle Health Analytics is a subsidiary of Bristol Bay Native Corporation and, in the parent company's words, "an SBA-certified 8(a) Alaska Native Corporation and Small Disadvantaged Business," a status permitting sole-source and limited-competition awards.

The larger order is a renewal. CDC has bought the same support under the same vehicle every year since 2023, most recently $1,455,921 in 2025.
