High school students from the Bristol Bay region have until Oct. 9 to apply for a youth leadership forum in Anchorage this December.

The three-day forum, co-hosted by Bristol Bay Native Corporation, United Tribes of Bristol Bay and the UAF Bristol Bay Campus, covers leadership, college and career paths, and issues facing Native communities. It runs Dec. 9 through 11, though the event listing gives conflicting start times worth confirming with the organizers.

An adult Bristol Bay Leadership Forum follows Dec. 10 and 11, a gathering the corporation says has drawn regional leaders together for more than 40 years to set priorities for the region.
