BBNC offers CDL training in Kenai for shareholders this fall

Bristol Bay Native Corporation is offering commercial driver's license training in Kenai this fall for its shareholders, their spouses and descendants who live in Alaska.

The Class A CDL program, run with Kenai Peninsula Driving Instruction, starts with 40 hours of online coursework done independently, followed by hands-on training in Kenai. Applicants must be at least 18 and have a valid Alaska driver's license, and will need to meet the standard commercial-driving requirements — a DMV permit, a medical certificate and a drug screening among them. Enrollment is open now with no set deadline, based on available class dates.
