Troopers seek driver of silver pickup in Fairbanks Turtle Club hit-and-run

A driver hit a parked rental vehicle at the Turtle Club in Fox, north of Fairbanks, and drove away, Alaska State Troopers said. Troopers are working to identify the driver.

Troopers responded to the restaurant and bar shortly after 11 pm Friday, Sept. 18. Surveillance video later given to troopers showed a man leaving the bar and driving off in a newer silver Chevrolet pickup, according to a trooper dispatch posted Thursday. No charges have been announced.

Troopers have reported another Fairbanks-area hit-and-run this month. An earlier Alaska News article on a Sept. 5 collision at Farmers Loop and Tanana reported that troopers were still seeking the driver of a red Subaru.
