A 19-year-old Sutton man was arrested on a drunken driving charge early Saturday after his vehicle hit a tree and rolled into a ditch on East Jonesville Mine Road near Eska Creek.

Alaska State Troopers reached the crash just before 3 am and said they determined the driver had been driving while intoxicated. He was taken to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility. The charge is an allegation and he has not been convicted.

Troopers did not say whether anyone was hurt or whether anyone else was in the vehicle.
