Raising Cane's hiring fair is Sept. 8 and 9, but the company lists no Juneau restaurant

Raising Cane's will hold an in-person hiring fair from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sept. 8 and 9. The Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development announced the hiring fair in a bulletin Tuesday.

Where to show up is unclear. The company's directory puts its three Alaska restaurants in Anchorage and Wasilla, and its careers site lists seven Alaska openings, none in Juneau. Posted wages run $16 to $24 an hour. The Juneau Job Center, at 907-465-4562, can confirm the address.

A Tlingit and Haida job fair is also set for Sept. 8. It runs 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Elizabeth Peratrovich Hall, 320 W. Willoughby Ave. The flyer says to bring a resume for on-the-spot interviews.
