North Pole Branch Library's fall children's programs begin Sept. 1

North Pole Branch Library's fall children's programming begins Sept. 1 and runs through October, with sessions for toddlers, preschoolers and school-age kids.

• Baby & Tots Playtime: drop-in for children under 3, two Tuesdays a month, 2-3 p.m. Sept. 1, 22; Oct. 6, 27; rotating equipment includes a small ball pit and soft climbing blocks.

• Budding Bookworms: longer storytime for ages 4-6 with an adult caregiver, Thursdays at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 3, 10, 17, 24; Oct. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29.

• Little Listeners: for ages 2-3 with an adult caregiver, alternating Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 9, 23; Oct. 7, 21.

• Read to a Dog: therapy dogs from Companions, Inc. visit Saturdays Sept. 19 and Oct. 17, 1-3 p.m.

• Movie Tuesday: "Cheaper by the Dozen" screens Sept. 15 and "Toy Story 5" screens Oct. 17, both at 4 p.m., with refreshments.

Free take-and-make craft bags are also available. The branch, at 656 NPHS Boulevard, is open Tuesdays 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday through Friday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
