Tyonek Fish and Game Advisory Committee Meeting

The Tyonek Fish and Game Advisory Committee has scheduled a public meeting for November 3, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. The meeting will be held via Zoom and is intended to address Board of Fisheries Lower Cook Inlet Finfish proposals and other relevant fish and game business. A key component of the meeting is the committee election. Voting is restricted to individuals of voting age who reside in the area served by the committee, specifically Game Management Unit 16 and Cook Inlet-Resurrection Bay fisheries, as defined by 5 AAC 96.910(10) and 5 AAC 97.005. Voting must be done in person at either the Tyonek or Anchorage locations, and proxy voting is prohibited. Advisory committees serve as local forums for discussing fish and wildlife issues, developing regulatory proposals, and providing recommendations to the Alaska Board of Fisheries and the Alaska Board of Game.
