Davidoff Street closes Saturday morning for Sitka manhole repair
Drivers will lose Davidoff Street between Charteris Street and Halibut Point Road early Saturday, Aug. 15, while Sitka crews repair a manhole lid.
The City and Borough of Sitka says work begins at 5:30 a.m. and should be finished by about 10 a.m. The repair is at the intersection of Halibut Point Road and Davidoff Street. Motorists are asked to use an alternate route, follow posted signage and use caution around the work area.
Questions about Saturday's closure go to the CBS Public Works Department at 907-747-1804.
