Bush plane tips on Copper River sandbar during fishwheel check; no injuries

A bush plane tipped and sustained minor damage on a Copper River sandbar Friday evening after its pilot landed to check a fishwheel near the mouth of the Kotsina River, according to Alaska State Troopers. Glennallen troopers were dispatched to the scene. No one was hurt. The occupants indicated they did not want or need assistance from troopers.
