
Alaska Army National Guard to recruit at Kenai job center Aug. 13
Alaska Army National Guard recruiters will meet with job seekers Thursday, Aug. 13, at the Peninsula Job Center in Kenai. The Guard is filling full- and part-time positions in engineering, aviation and military police. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
"This event is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the diverse career paths and opportunities the Army National Guard has to offer," Peninsula Job Center staff said in an announcement Monday.
Eligibility Requirements
Federal hiring guidance published by USAJOBS says applicants who have never served must be between 17 and 35 years old. They must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, and they must hold a high school diploma or a GED. Medical, physical and moral requirements also apply.
