A Big Lake man is charged with assault after a report at a school parking lot

Alaska State Troopers arrested a Big Lake man Thursday afternoon after witnesses reported an assault inside a vehicle parked at Big Lake Elementary School.

Troopers responded around 3 p.m. July 9. Investigators say the man assaulted his girlfriend inside their vehicle; he was charged with fourth-degree assault, a domestic violence misdemeanor, and taken to Mat-Su Pretrial.

The charge is an accusation. He is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
