Donald "Butch" Sapp, 85, has not been seen since noon on June 20, when neighbors last spotted him at his Willow property. Alaska State Troopers are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact them.

On June 25, troopers from B Detachment were asked to conduct a welfare check at Sapp's Willow residence, five days after he was last seen. Troopers searched alongside volunteer teams. "Troopers and volunteer search teams conducted a thorough search of the property and were unable to locate Sapp," the Department of Public Safety said in its daily dispatch.

Sapp's property sits along the Kashwitna River.

Anyone who has seen Sapp or knows his whereabouts is asked to call Alaska State Troopers at (907) 352-5401.
