Two arrested in North Pole burglary involving stolen firearms

Alaska State Troopers arrested two people Wednesday in connection with a North Pole burglary in which firearms, a snow machine and a large generator were stolen.

William Clatterbuck and Briana Perry were remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center on charges of first-degree burglary and multiple counts of theft. The charges are accusations, and both are presumed innocent.

The Fairbanks Criminal Suppression Unit opened the investigation Monday, identifying the pair as key participants. Troopers say other suspects and witnesses are identified and more charges may follow. The dispatch does not say whether any has been recovered.
