Alaska State Troopers served a search warrant at a Fairbanks home Saturday and recovered a stolen snow machine, pickup truck and camper, along with most of the items taken from two burglarized shipping containers at another Fairbanks property.

The stolen property is worth an estimated $50,000, according to the troopers' Daily Dispatch report.

Troopers said they were called to a Fairbanks residence at 2:49 pm Saturday for a reported burglary and vehicle thefts. Two shipping containers on the property had been broken into and numerous items taken. The snow machine, pickup and camper were also gone.

Troopers found the camper at another residence in Fairbanks. They served a search warrant there and recovered all three vehicles and most of the items stolen from the containers.

The dispatch lists the case as second-degree burglary, three counts of first-degree vehicle theft and first-degree theft. It does not say whether anyone was arrested or charged. The Department of Public Safety notes on its dispatch reports that any charges listed are only accusations and that defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

The troopers' D Detachment posted the report at 7:33 pm Saturday and said the investigation is ongoing.
