Troopers recover stolen snow machine, pickup and camper after Fairbanks burglary

Alaska State Troopers recovered a stolen snow machine, pickup truck and camper Saturday at a Fairbanks home, along with most of the items taken in a burglary reported that afternoon.

Troopers were called to a Fairbanks residence at 2:49 pm for a reported burglary and vehicle thefts. Two shipping containers there had been broken into and numerous items stolen, and the snow machine, truck and camper were gone, according to the troopers' dispatch.

Troopers found the camper at another home in Fairbanks. They served a search warrant there and recovered all three vehicles and most of the items from the containers. Troopers estimated the stolen items at $50,000.

The dispatch doesn't report any arrests. The investigation is ongoing.
