Summit on Aging offers 15-minute one-on-one slots with Alaska health leaders

The Alaska Statewide Summit on Aging runs Oct. 15 to 17 in Anchorage and online, and anyone registered can book 15 minutes with state health department leadership on the Friday.

Those office hours run from 10 am to noon Oct. 16 at the Turnagain Social Club. Slots are first come, first served, and go through program coordinator Yasmin Radbod at [email protected]. Attendees are asked to bring questions, ideas or concerns affecting older Alaskans, people with disabilities, caregivers and providers.

Alaskans 65 and older and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities attend in person free. Other tickets run up to $322.56; the $250 early rate closed Sept. 15. The summit carries up to 21 continuing education credits.
