Summit on Aging offers 15-minute one-on-one slots with Alaska health leaders

Older Alaskans, caregivers and service providers registered for the Statewide Summit on Aging can reserve 15 minutes with Alaska Department of Health leadership on Friday, Oct. 16, between 10 a.m. and noon at the Turnagain Social Club in Anchorage. Slots go first come, first served; reserve by emailing program coordinator Yasmin Radbod at [email protected].

Attendees are asked to bring questions, ideas, concerns or feedback affecting older Alaskans, people with disabilities, caregivers and providers.

The office hours fall inside the Alaska Commission on Aging's summit, running Oct. 15 to 17 in person and online, with up to 21 continuing education credits approved. Alaskans 65 and older and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities pay no in-person fee. Other tickets run to $322.56 with fees. The $250 early rate ended Sept. 15.
