Soldotna council candidate Conner refiles disclosure after picking wrong municipality

Soldotna City Council candidate Nicholas Conner refiled his public financial disclosure Tuesday after selecting the wrong municipality on his original form. He corrected the filing to list the City of Soldotna. Soldotna city code lets the clerk place a candidate's name on the ballot only after both the declaration of candidacy and the financial disclosure are filed.

The amended filing covers Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2025. Conner reported $100,000 to $200,000 in income from Nick's Auto Glass LLC, the Soldotna business he owns. His spouse reported $50,000 to $100,000 in income as a clerk with the Alaska Court System.

The form lists outstanding loans to TD Bank and Credit Union 1 for Conner and to Global Federal for his spouse. It also lists a Simple IRA managed by New York Life, a state retirement account through the Alaska Public Employees' Retirement System, and real property Conner holds in fee simple in Soldotna. He reported no leases and no close economic associations.
