Oregon firm wins $285,136 contract for new Tetlin refuge exhibits in Tok

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service awarded a $285,136 contract for Phase 2 interpretive exhibits at the Tetlin National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center in Tok to Sea Reach, Ltd., a firm in Sheridan, Oregon, rather than a local Alaska business. Contract 140FS126P0255 was awarded Sept. 9, with performance running through Sept. 30, 2027.

The contract covers fabrication, packaging, shipping, delivery, installation and testing of exhibits built from government-provided designs, including graphics, multimedia components and taxidermy and natural materials matching Phase 1 paint colors, wood stains and fonts. It was issued as a total small business set-aside, open only to small firms, under NAICS code 541490, other specialized design services.

The federal award record shows the solicitation was competed under simplified acquisition procedures and drew one offer.

The log-cabin center sits at Mile 1.3 Borealis Avenue. Sea Reach specializes in interpretive exhibits, emphasizing accessibility for blind and visually impaired visitors.
