Today is Monday, July 27th, 2026. The purpose of this hearing is to hear from the primary sponsor and the group opposing Citizen Initiative 24, E-S-E-G. I will read the ballot summary now. An act restoring political party primaries, ending ranked choice election— general elections, and repealing recent campaign finance laws. This act would get rid of open primary elections where all candidates appear on one ballot.
