Andy Jimmie, Traditional Chief of Minto and former TCC Advisory Health Board Chair, was remembered for decades of leadership and advocacy on behalf of Alaska Native people and the Alaska Tribal Health System. Barbara Jimmie was honored for compassion, resilience and commitment to family and community. Together, Andy and Barbara embodied the values of unconditional love, compassion, dignity and respect, values that continue to guide the work of tcc. Today, Tanana Chiefs Conference and the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium are offering a free weekend camp for Alaska Native girls ages 10 to 17 who are survivors of sexual assault.
