From the transcript

So for those of you who I spoke with this summer, I addressed how we handle prohibited species donations of halibut currently and our plan to make sure that all donated halibut comes back to Alaska communities from now on because of the health benefits of halibut, particularly its high vitamin D content, which is so important in our northern climate. Climate. Um, this donation would follow suit. We are not anywhere close to relieving hunger in Alaska. Um, in the United States, you have 1 in every 8 people are food insecure, but in Alaska, it's 1 in every 6, and it's 1 in every 5 children who are experiencing hunger.
