“If it's a significant change, like, you know, it adds new subject matter or an area of the Fisheries Management Plan that wasn't contemplated in the original proposal, that might constitute a, uh, that might warrant another 30-day notice period, in which case, um, board would potentially have to come back or just table the proposal altogether at that point.”

From the transcript

Through the Chair, Director Nelson, so a small change, let's take for example, say you wanted, you know, a fishery to start on the 5th, and in the final regulatory language that comes back, it says the fourth. Something like that, small, that could be, you know, chalked up to just an error in how it was, you know, drafted. Something like that could be amended at that final adoption meeting and then, you know, codified from there. If it's a significant change, like, you know, it adds new subject matter or an area of the Fisheries Management Plan that wasn't contemplated in the original proposal, that might constitute a, uh, that might warrant another 30-day notice period, in which case, um, board would potentially have to come back or just table the proposal altogether at that point. Because the other thing we're kind of running up against here is that the board changes over in summer, um, and so there's, there's a couple of considerations that'll have to take place at that adoption meeting, but I do think the timeline can be scheduled to allow for a subsequent adoption meeting if that were necessary prior to June 1st and, you know, a board changeover in, you know, the coming years.
