From the transcript
Another way that we make sure we're listening, and this is important but simple, is having dinners together. Together with my friend and comrade Chief Justice Aurora Laird from the Tlingit and Haida Tribal Court, about 3 years ago, we started Dinners in Southeast, where every 6 months, we sit down, tribal and state judges, and court staff, and we alternate the locations in Southeast. We go around and we talk about issues. We don't talk about specific cases. We get to know each other as human beings.
