Troopers issue Silver Alert for Karen Igo, 65, missing from her Naukati Bay home

Alaska State Troopers issued a Silver Alert on Monday for Karen Igo, a vulnerable adult reported missing from her home in Naukati Bay on Prince of Wales Island.

Igo, 65, is 5 feet 4 inches tall and 170 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes, according to the state's Silver Alert page. It says she has been missing since 6:26 pm Sunday.

Troopers ask anyone who knows where she is to call the Silver Alert line at 1-855-SILVR99 (1-855-745-8799). A photo is linked from the trooper dispatch.

Silver Alerts are for missing adults who, because of a physical or mental impairment, may not be able to get help on their own and whom law enforcement believes are in danger of serious harm, under the state's criteria.
