Troopers investigate report that man pepper-sprayed a woman off Knik Goose Bay Road

A 21-year-old Wasilla man pepper-sprayed a woman off Knik Goose Bay Road on Friday and then fled, according to initial reports, Alaska State Troopers said.

Troopers were called to a reported assault in progress at about 11:53 am Oct. 30, according to their daily dispatch report. The man also has an outstanding arrest warrant from a separate case, troopers said.

No arrest had been announced as of Saturday. The dispatch doesn't say whether the woman was hurt or what charges the man could face. Troopers said the investigation is ongoing.
