Sacred Acre electronic music festival runs through Sunday in Ninilchik

Sacred Acre, a three-day electronic music festival in Ninilchik, is underway this weekend and runs through Sunday, Sept. 13, according to the festival's website.

The event's website says three-day general-admission tickets were listed at $215, with on-site camping, gear-rental options and shuttle service available between Anchorage and Ninilchik. Lower tiers are shown at $195 and $165, plus taxes and fees. The shuttle schedule listed service Sept. 10-14, with departures from Anchorage to Ninilchik and return trips from Ninilchik to Anchorage, operated by Red Eye Rides.

Sacred Acre is produced by Cosmic Ayre Productions. The festival describes its broader mission as combining music, art and environmental advocacy, including education around factory trawling and ocean protection. Trawling is fishing with large towed nets. The site names no partner group.

The website publishes no lineup for this year. The only performers it names, Clozee and Opiuo, are listed among previous years' artists.
