Rollover partially blocked Edgerton Highway between miles 26 and 27 Friday morning
A vehicle rollover partially blocked both directions of the Edgerton Highway between mile markers 26 and 27 Friday morning, according to Alaska 511. Recovery crews and machinery worked the scene.
Alaska 511 told drivers to reduce speed and expect short delays. The road was not fully closed.
The advisory first posted at 10:59 am, was last updated at 11:07 am and was scheduled to run until 1 pm. By Friday evening, Alaska 511 no longer listed it. At 8:15 pm, the agency's incident page said the event "may have recently been cleared."
The listing gives no information on injuries or the rollover's cause.
The Edgerton Highway is a two-lane road with light traffic: from 80 to 480 vehicles a day in 2021, according to a state transportation analysis. Traffic on the route rises seasonally.
Current conditions are on the Alaska 511 event listing.
