Kodiak's Adjust Your Altitude summit challenge begins June 15

Discover Kodiak opens registration June 15 for its Adjust Your Altitude summit challenge, a **$5** program running through Sept. 1 that sends participants to seven peaks accessible from the Kodiak road system.

The seven required summits are Heitman Mountain, Kashevaroff Mountain, Barometer Mountain, Pyramid Mountain, Sharatin Mountain, Monashka Mountain, and North Sister Mountain. A bonus peak, Marin Ridge, is also available. Island Trails Network is a partner in the challenge.

Participants pick up a sticker and passport at Discover Kodiak, sign a waiver, and photograph themselves at each summit with the sticker visible. Discover Kodiak notes: "FOG HAPPENS! Take the best photo you can, we trust our participants."

The prize pool exceeds **$2,000**. Completing all seven summits within 24 hours earns ten drawing entries. Finishing all peaks within seven days earns five entries. Completing all peaks before Sept. 1 earns one entry.
