GSA awards Anchorage firm $21,187 for repairs at Washington FERC complex

The General Services Administration sent IMAQ EML JV, LLC, an Anchorage-based, Alaska Native Corporation-owned firm, $21,187 in emergency orders for repairs at two federal buildings in Washington, D.C., the latest federal facilities work reaching an Alaska-owned company far from the state.

Order 47PE5226F0289, worth $14,500, covers 11th-floor HVAC system balancing at Union Center Plaza 4, running Sept. 11 through Dec. 30. Order 47PE5226F0285, worth $6,687, covers exterior door and frame replacement at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission building, running Sept. 10 through March 9, 2027. Both are recorded as competed.

The firm received $25,816 from GSA on Aug. 24 for garage entry roll-up door repairs. Federal records show 34 awards to it worth about $5.2 million since October, nearly all at that complex, anchored by a $4.4 million consolidated facilities management call. That agreement runs through Sept. 30.

The company is a joint venture between EML and IMAQ Resources, a KOMAN Holdings subsidiary owned by Natives of Kodiak. It is registered at 2700 Gambell St. in Anchorage and listed in federal contract records as an Alaska Native corporation-owned firm and a self-certified small disadvantaged business; its schedule contract, 47QSMS25D002Z, runs through Jan. 6, 2030.
