Public Comment Period Closes: Proposed Noncompetitive Sale ADL 234892

The Alaska Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Mining, Land and Water (DMLW), has issued a public notice regarding a proposed noncompetitive land sale to the Alaska Energy Authority (AEA). The proposed transaction is identified by case file number ADL 234892 and is being processed under the authority of AS 38.05.035(e) and AS 38.05.810(a)(1). In conjunction with the land sale, the DNR is proposing Mineral Order 1340, which would close the subject area to mineral entry. This related action is being conducted pursuant to AS 38.05.185 and AS 38.05.300. The public and agency comment period for this proposal is currently open. Interested parties must submit their comments to the Land Conveyance Section of the DMLW no later than 5:00 PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
